ONS Ambassador Program

There are 3 levels of training within the 'Ambassador Program' to aspire too.
To reach 'Ambassador' status you must complete the first 8 certificates (listed below) in the program, the last ambassador certificate (competition) is held in conjunction with the 'Instructor' training, once a year in Melbourne, in July.
Once you have been a active Instructor for a period of 2 years (less for the truly exceptional and passionate), you may be invited to attend the Annual International Educator Training held in Korea.

ONS offers their students a solid foundation of Theory and Technical Skills in Nail
Technology. This program will equip the students for advancement in all
aspects of their career whether it be in the Salon, Training and Education or in the Competition Arena. There are 3 levels of training within the 'Ambassador Program' to aspire too.

...are your comprehensive foundation and advanced curriculum in professional
nail education.
The first 5 classes in the program are conducted by ONS Educators and Instructors.
The more Advanced classes (Design and 3D/Fantasy) are only offered by ONS Educators.
The Competition Class is only offered by the Director of Education, Viv Simmonds.
They may be completed in any order.
Ambassadors receive a 10% discount on ONS products from Vivid and all ONS classes.

Natural Spa System
(1 Day)
This class will cover Product Knowledge, Product Features, Spa Manicure and Spa Pedicure procedures, Nail Treatments and Polish Application.
Cost $250, Includes a Manicure/Pedicure Kit.
Introduction to Nail Technology
(Day 1 of a 2 day Class)
This Class is combined with the Acrylic System Certificate (below) and will take you through Nail Structure, Product Chemistry, Product Control, Brush Angles, Prep and Application, Tipping and Sculpting, Filing and Finishing and Trouble Shooting.
(Cost is included in Acrylic system price)
Acrylic System
(Day 2 of a 2 day Class)
This class will continue on with all of the skills and techniques listed above in 'Introduction to Nail Technology'. At the completion of this 2 day event you will receive 2 certificates.
Cost for both Classes is $350, Includes a VIP Acrylic kit.
Salon Technology
(1 Day)
This Class will take you through Electric Filing, Product Application, in-fills and back-fills, handling an electric file safely and maintenance of a electric file.
Cost $250
Gel System
(2 Days)
This class will cover the Gel ranges product features and benefits, correct preparation of nails, product application, tipping and sculpting, filing and finishing and gel trouble shooting
Cost $350, includes a New Era Evoke Gel Kit.
Design Sculpture
(2 Days)
This class features Design Concepts and Planning, Advanced Design Techniques and different shapes to help you think outside the square, as well as product features and benefits.
Cost $350, includes a design kit.
3D and Fantasy
(2 Days)
This class will cover product features and benefits, advanced 3D and Fantasy sculpting techniques and design concepts and planning. At the conclusion of the class you will have completed your own 3D and Fantasy design.
Cost $350, includes a design kit.
Competition Training
(2 Days)
This Class will cover Time Management on the Comp Floor, Judging Criteria, Competition Nail Structure, Competition Check-list, Competition Tips and Competition Application and Filing.
Cost $350, includes a mini Comp Kit.

The Next step up from 'Ambassador' is 'Instructor'. To accomplish this Status you must attend a further 2 Days of Training with Education Director for Australia, Viv Simmonds. This training is only held once per year (the next available opportunity is in July 2013). You will be required to sit and pass a written and practical exam.
Instructors receive a 15% discount on ONS products from Vivid and ONS classes,
Free invitation to our annual Award Ceremony,
The ability to hold the first 5 classes in our Ambassador Program
The opportunity to on-sell ONS product,
and many other exclusive trade benefits.
To become a ONS 'Educator' you must be invited by your Director of Education to attend Training held in Korea once a year, again you will have to pass a written and practical exam to reach the status of 'Educator'
ONS proudly covers the cost of 3 days worth of Educator training in Korea along with meals and accommodation whilst training,
Educators receive 25% discount on ONS product from Vivid and ONS classes,
Free invitation to our annual Award Ceremony,
The ability to conduct the first 7 classes in in the Ambassador Program,
The opportunity to on-sell ONS product.
Educators also have the opportunity to build their own team of instructors and ambassadors
